What are the ethical reasons to the following questions and behaviors?

• Why do we kill?

  • Because we feel we have to defend our land, beliefs, property, or family.
  • Because we do not know how to resolve conflicts.
• Why do we produce guns of all types with new technology to kill people faster?
  • So we can kill more.
  • So we can make more money.
• Why do we continue to produce nuclear weapons?
  • Because we are crazy.
  • Because we have a will to die.
  • Because we need smaller ones.
  • Because we need more powerful ones.
  • Because we need to replace older weapons.
• Why do we continue to produce chemical weapons?
  • Because we can kill a person at a cost of a few pennies.
  • Because we can kill people without destroying property.
  • Because we can kill them in a way that others will fear us.
• Why do we continue to produce biological weapons?
  • Because we can kill a person at a cost of a few pennies.
  • Because we can kill people without destroying property.

• Why do we lie?
  • So we can do what we want to do.
  • So anyone person will not know the truth about us.
• Why do we cheat on our partner?
  • Because we want too.
  • Because we do not care about how they feel.

  • Because we do not feel we have to respect another person.
  • Because we just do not care.
  • Because they will never find out.
  • Because they cheated on them.
• Why do we continue to have unprotected sex?
  • Because it feels better.
  • Because we do not care to do other wise.
  • Because it was not important.
  • Because the other person said it was O.K.
  • Because they did not have any protection.
  • Because we secretly want to die.
  • Because we feel we cannot die.
  • Because we feel nothing bad will happen to us.
• Why do we have sex with people and know nothing about them?
  • Because we can.
  • Because we wanted to.
  • Because we do not see anything wrong with it.
  • Because they will not tell.
  • Because we will never see them again.
  • Because the opportunity presented itself.
  • Because no one loves me.
  • Because I had too.
• Why do we move-in with a person we are thinking about marrying and produce children with them without the protection of marriage?
• Why do you set yourself up to fail in relationships?
• Why do we steal?
• Why do we use the name of God to hate, kill others, or win a game?
• Why did we possibly risk 1,000,000 Africans in the development of the oral polio vaccine in the Congo?
• Why does a leader of a nation lies about the true reason he and his administration sent men and women, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers to war and then cut their benefits and not providing them the aftercare and treatment for their physical and emotional wounds?
• Why do we think it is Un-American to look at the cause and affects of our policies and actions?
• Why do we fear our own children?
• Why do we fear others?
• Why do we reject the very people we love?

Humankind has failed to understand, accept, learn, and value the following!

1. We have failed to understand the role that abandonment experiences, actions, and issues have on individuals, groups, systems, and nations.
2. We have failed to accept the role that unresolved abandonment issues has on the development of pathology in individuals, groups, systems, and nations.
3. We have failed to accept the benefits of treating the unresolved abandonment issues within individuals, families, groups of people, or nations.
4. We have failed to accept responsibility for our own individual actions on others. This includes producting children without the means and mindset in what is involved in rearing them into adulthood.
5. We have failed to understand and identify how our own "core abandonment issue" is being acted-out in our interpersonal communications or behaviors toward others.
